S.G. #J29a, 1942 1a Purple-brown, Ty. 5 overprint on postage stamp of King George VI, inverted overprint, horizontal pair, neatly tied to fresh locally addressed cover by "Kyonpyaw" postmark, with date written in Burmese manuscript reading "first collection, waxing moon, 2-4-14" (i.e. date in Burmese lunar calendar), appropriate backstamp, fresh and extremely fine; philatelicly used, but extremely rare on cover (S.G. £2,400 as two off-cover singles).
