France, 1940 German Occupation of Dunkerque postal-history group of eight covers, including two bearing Mercure 25c featuring vertical and inverted overprint, the latter applied in center of block of four, two items franked by Paix 50c with inverted overprint, the other four franked at 1 franc rate with overprinted combinations featuring Type Paix and commemorative issues, including cancellations of Dunkerque and Ghyvelde and backstamped on destination, very fine, all signed by Roumet.
