1845 90r black, types I and II, intermediate impression, an extraordinary block of fifteen on greyish paper, coming from the lower left corner of the sheet, type II in upper row and type I in other two rows, positions 103-107 / 120-124 / 137-141, one stamp slightly cut into at top, otherwise has predominantly very large to huge sheet margin at left, displaying marginal rules on two sides, cancelled by framed “Correo/De/Nictheroy” handstamps, two tiny surface scuffs on position 138 of no importance for this rarity.


Of the three multiples which are believed to exist featuring type II in combination with type I in the bottom two horizontal rows, this is the largest, a unique and major rarity of Brazilian philately. 2010 Moorhouse certificate; RHM 7+7A.
