1844 60r black, types II and I, fine impression, a well margined vertical pair featuring mixed types, applied on reverse of entire letter carried via steamer from Grampará to Maranhão, paying the single maritime rate and tied by red ''Grampará'' octagonal datestamp with ''23 Maio 1845'' manuscript date on May 23, faults on the lower stamp of the pair where it has been affixed over the flap of the cover, small nick in the left margin of the upper stamp and small crease at the top left corner both clear of the design, all being usual faults as stamps were mainly applied on reverse, very clean and fine in other respects, a rare multiple including both types on cover, -less than ten covers are recorded originating from this locality-; 2010 Moorhouse certificate; RHM 6C+6B;
