#386a, 1921 5000K Madonna and Child, Center Inverted, lovely mint single of this famous inverted center, very well centered and fresh, full o.g., lightly hinged, trivial perf flaw at top of no consequence as most examples have various faults, very fine; one of the premier Inverted Centers of 20th century Europe; less than 100 examples exist, and at least 38 of these are tied up in museums, leaving very few opportunities for a collector to obtain one of these beautiful rarities; signed R. Calves and H. Bloch and accompanied by clear 1980 Friedl certificate (Phi. Hung. #405fk; 4,500,00FT =$15,625.00).
