#3P, 1871 3kr Sperati die proof forgeries, one in black on white paper (36x59mm) with his h.s. on the reverse and "Reproduction Interdite" h.s. on the front and Jean de Sperati signature, the other a beautiful impression in the issued green color on piece of off white paper (51x66mm), this latter is the epitome of this forger's artistry and skill, if we didn't have the BPA's work on Sperati this would not be distinguishable from the original, very fine.
