#1e, 1850 1kr Cadmium yellow (Ty. III), on handmade paper, single franking on 1854 entire folded circular with central boxed "Pesth 28/12" pmk., to Landau in Bavaria, Vienna transit and backstamped Landau on January 1st, slight edge stain to cover at left, otherwise very fine; a scarce shade of this first stamp of Austria and a scarce usage of a single franking usage on a foreign mail cover paying the proper circular rate; signed by Klambaur VOP and accompanied by his 1981 certificate.
