Iran substantial postal history lot of over 175 covers, includes over 30 19th century covers starting as early as 1876 with a nice 5s Rose and black domestic cover (#29), two #43 on internal cover and a scarce use of the 1885 lithographed 5c Blue on cover Yezd to Tehran, plus an 1898 16c Red lilac postal envelope (H&G #B6) with two pairs of #105 posted to Constantinople from Tabriz, another 100 covers are from 1900 to the 1920's including a few foreign mail covers and some interesting frankings as six registry labels used at 1ch each for postage, there are several postal parcel receipts with high value frankings such as strips of three of the 2K, 3K and 30K 1909 Arms issue (#457-8and #463), we note some early air mail covers including four with first issue overprints, also another 50 later covers from the 1930s to 1950s, many are foreign mail usages to Europe and the United States including registered and air mail, condition varies with normal postal wear but large portion are fine-very fine; an interesting lot well worth examining.
