#2/53, 1861-80 Large Hermes Head select collection of 46 choice used stamps selected for their uniform exceptionally high quality and for reference of the different printings, most of the stamps are from the earlier 1861-67 printings including four different Athens provisionals including two coarse prints and two fine prints, a nice range of consecutive printings showing shades, several cleaned plate values including the scarcer 80l Rose carmine(#29), plus a few later issues, most notable about this collection is there extraordinary quality, each has full to large balanced margins, fresh colors and without any faults, very fine-extremely fine; total Scott value $2,450.00.
