#1, 5c Red brown, two singles, the left one with clear to large margins all around, the right one with close to huge margins all around, including a partial sheet-margin at top, cancelled by red grids on huge 260x208mm embossed Valentines cover to North Amherst, Mass., matching "N. York & N. Haven R.R./Feb 13" datestamp, includes the original matching embossed paper lace enclosure which is decorated with several chromolithographed stickers, remarkably fresh and clean, extremely fine; a highly desirable 1847 issue Valentines and railroad usage.
