1868 printed paper wrapper to Paris, marked "per Mail Str via England", bearing 1864 4c. red and 12c. blue, both centrally cancelled by "monrovia/liberia" circular h.s. in blue with another strike on face with "paid" h.s. inserted, showing red crayon "8d", circular-framed "pd" and London Paid transit d.s. (3.2) in red, the latter partly overstruck by Calais entry datestamp. A very rare and most attractive franking. Photo
