Type One (thin Overprint) on Thin Paper: Large piece (262x103mm; bottom corners clipped) from the left-hand pane with twenty impressions (2x10) - [Rows 1/10 Pos. 1-2] in red, typed "It is certified that this is the original proof sheet for the overprinting of One Penny and half-penny stamps of BCOF, Eta Jima, Japan 1-10-146. This design was eventually rejected but 160 stamps of each denomination were completed and sold", signed by Lt. Col. Fletcher, Major L. Crofts and F.
