Richard II (1377-99), Pennies (2), Durham, type Ia, 1.07g, mm. cross pattée, ricardvs rex anglie, lis on breast, rev. civi tas dvn olm, Lombardic Ns, three pellets in each angle, a saltire before civi; 0.72g, as previous coin, but from a different obverse die (N.1328; S.1697; Stewartby p.266), the first flat in parts, nearly very fine, the second cracked, fair, both very rare (2)
