Richard II (1377-99), Halfgroat, London, type IV, 1.74g, mm. cross pattée, ricard dei gra rex angl, saltire stops, late bust, crescent(?) on breast, rev. posvi devm adivtorem mev, saltire stops, civi tas lon don, reversed Ns (Potter III-8/IIIb; N.1323; S.1685; Stewartby p.263 and pl.14/279 this coin), small and double struck on the reverse, otherwise nearly very fine and excessively rare, the reverse die not previously recorded
