Edward I (1279-1307), Pennies (6), Class 3e, Durham under Bishop de Insula (3), 1.29g, long narrow face, rev. civi tas dvr eme, small crack and associated minor edge loss, good fine, 1.31g, fair, 1.10g, variety with pellet-barred Ns on the obverse, the legend flat in parts, fine, Newcastle (3), 0.98g, variety with unbroken right hair, rev. vill ano vica stri, good fine, 1.05g, variety with broken right hair, almost very fine, but clipped, 1.40g, pellet-barred Ns, weak legends 1-3 o’clock, otherwise very fine (N1020; S.1421, S.1428; Stewartby p.171, IIId), (6)
