Edward the Confessor (1042-66), Penny, 0.72g, Small Flan type, ‘Dyr’, Wulgar, diademed bust left, rev. +PVLGAR O DYR, short cross voided (N818; S1175), some porosity with a surface flaw on the reverse, otherwise good fine, better in part, extremely rare.
