Shanghai: 1917-22 a group of registered covers with 1917 envelope to Sweden bearing pair of 10c. tied by the oval datestamp with the boxed registered handstamp, with censor seal at side; 1917 envelope to San Francisco bearing 4c. (3) tied by oval datestamp with the boxed registered handstamp alongside, 1919 envelope to England bearing 6c. and 10c. (2) tied by oval datestamp with a poor strike of the boxed registered handstamp plus 1922 envelope to London (part of address side missing) bearing, on the reverse, 1c., 4c. and 10c. (2) tied by oval datestamp and hooded London registered c.d.s. in red, redirected on arrival with handstruck "3d" tax mark. A good group showing different rates. (4 covers)
