1917 (29 Jan.) a combination cover from Shanghai to Tokyo, Japan franked with K.G.V 1c. (4) and ovpt. "china" 10c., tied by Shanghai Br.P.O. c.d.s.. One of K.G.V 1c. on reverse missing cancellation c.d.s. and cancelled by violet crayon; very early usage of the overprinted stamps which were put on sale from 1st Jan 1917. Cover ligtly damaged on reverse.
