1941 (29 Sept.) envelope to Mlada in Bohemia "Via Pacific" bearing 50c. New York print tied by Shanghai despatch c.d.s. with Victoria, Hong Kong (30.10) transit on the reverse. Censor seal at side, the letter was delayed in transit and did not arrive in Mlada until 1946 (18 Mar.); it is typed on the reverse that the recipient was arrested by the German Police and sent to a concentration camp, the address side with handstruck "returned to sender/service suspended" in purple. Two punch holes at side; an unusual and desirable cover with the original contents. Photo
