The following ten lots are the second and final portion of an advanced study, from an original Irish Archive, of the Dublin distinctive Maltese Cross cancellation
Plate 38: LI, good to large margins all round and showing a trace of the adjoining stamp at foot, tied by a good strike of the Maltese Cross, to entire letter, dated 17 Feb. 1844, on reverse red Dublin diamond and blue Banbridge datestamps; vertical filing fold, well clear of the adhesive, fine and scarce from this plate with Maltese Cross cancellation.
