OF good to large margins, tied by orange Brighton Maltese Cross cancellation on printed "Assessment of the Expences (sic) of the Commutation of Tithes" dated 4 Nov. 1840; filing folds well clear of the adhesive and a trifle soiled. A striking entire with the adhesive affixed almost centrally, contrary to Post Office instructions. Photo
