1858 (23 Feb.) sailor's envelope to Leicester, headed "From G. Millican, Seaman on board H.M.S. Herald", countersigned by Commanding Officer and bearing 1854 imperf. 1d. with margins virtually all round (just cut-into at top right) tied by void obliterator in brownish red, showing very fine "post office/Crown/albany/western australia" oval h.s in brownish red and, on reverse, clear arrival c.d.s. (7.4); some minor light age stains though an attractive and very rare soldier's rate cover, being one of only two recorded. B.P.A. Certificate (2007). Photo
