1815 (June) a hand made pocket book, the property of a French soldier, Jean Macé, Corporal of the 2nd. Regiment of the Line, bound in hand painted vellum (approximately 105mm. x 135mm.), found on the field of Waterloo, soon after the battle. Including three letters to Macé, two with "p40p/mortoire", the other with "p.71.p./la chartre" handstamps and with "ppp" markings". Fine and a fascinating piece of postal history
