A mint and used collection comprising Cape of Good Hope (94) including a range of used Rectangular issues, 1902-04 ½d. to 5/- mint, Mafeking Siege 1900 seriffed type on Cape of Good Hope 1d. on ½d. (Hope seated) mint and on Bechuanaland Protectorate 1d. on ½d. used, and sans-serif type on Bechuanaland Protectorate 3d. on 1d. used (some perfs cut off at left); Natal (68) including 1902-03 ½d. to 4/- mint, 1902 CC 5/-, 10/-, £1 (slight discolouration) and £1.10 (lightly gum toned) mint, £5 and £10 overprinted "specimen" (both without gum), 1904-08 ½d. to 2/6d. mint and £1.10 overprinted "specimen" (short perfs at top) and 1908-09 6d. to £1; Orange Free State (71) with some "V.R.I." overprints and 1903-04 ½d. to 5/- mint; and Transvaal (112) including 1902 CA ½d. to 10/- mint, 1903 1/-, 2/- and £1 mint, and 1904-09 MCA ½d. to £1 mint.
