#14a, 1883 Half of 1d Orange bisect used as ½d, unsevered pair with large "POSTAGE" overprint, scarce used example with portion of blue c.d.s., quite well centered for this, couple of uneven perforations at top not noted on the certificate, otherwise fine; even used pairs used as 1d values are scarce with less then a couple dozen known; clear 2006 RPS certificate; (S.G. #28a; £1,000)
