Celtic, Trinovantes and Catuvellauni, Andoco (c.20-1 BC), plated silver Unit, 1.13g, in imitation of the 'Pegasus' type, bearded bust left, a behind, interwoven lace border around rev. pegasus left, andoco around (ABC 2721; VA 1868-3; S.264), area on bust where silver plating has come away, generally well presented and a pleasing bust on this, nearly extremely fine and a superb example of a plated contemporary forgery
