1937 (9 April) Mrs. H.B. Bonney Brisbane to Cape Town Flight: Envelope to Brisbane franked George V 2d. red with Brisbane cancellation, large violet "first flight/brisbane-capetown" cachet, the flight delayed in the Sudan where 1m., 2m., 3m., 4m. and 5m. stamps applied and cancelled "Malakal/13 June 1937", on reverse another strike of the large cachet, White Nile (24.6), Khartoum (27.8) and Brisbane (3.8) datestamps and endorsed "Tail skid damaged" and signed by Mrs. Bonney; a little stained though rare.
