A selection (4), comprising "Cape Times" wrapper from R.H.Moir of "B" Squadron at Cape Town to Ontario with manuscript "Strathconas Horse" on face, G.B. 1d. letter card from C.J. Nicolson of "C" Squadron in hospital at Lydenburg with gruesome details of injuries sustained while trying to capture a Long Tom, (May) twice redirected envelope from E.C. Wragge of "B" Squadron in Natal, and (July) Cape card, uprated with ½d., posted by U. Daykin of "A" Squadron at Durban, the stamps not recognised and with numeral "2" alongside, and unused Elder Demsper Line envelope with Strathcona's Horse imprint with ; a few faults though an interesting group
