1860-84 mint collection of plate varieties (599) all beautifully mounted, written-up and illustrated throughout with printed enlargements of the basic design, each of which has had its distinguishing plate variety features added in red ink, and presented in two Godden deluxe albums; arranged in position order from 1 to 240 with some positions represented by up to nine stamps from a variety of the various issues covered. Many scarce stamps are included. Condition does vary though generally above average for a collection of this nature. A magnificent lot last catalogued in 2008 at £36,000
