King Faisal II and Abd al-Ilah of Hejaz
1930's to 50's, a selection of agency and other photographs of the Regent and the 'Boy King'. The group of King Faisal include some informal pictures of his on holiday and playing in a swimming pool, in the Royal coach with the Queen and Prince Philip on his State Visit in 1956, plus his visit to France and at various meetings, several with army officers. Photographs of the Regent include some of his visit to U.S.A. and receiving the Legion of Merit from President Truman, meeting with various dignitaries including Princess Faiza and a Weinberg portrait. A few with imperfections, nevertheless an interesting and valuable group. (45). Photo
