First Balkan War: 1912-13, a collection of photographs from different sources including many pictures of troops of various nationalites serving in Montenegro, Serb, Cossacks, French and many others; a group of pictures taken in Albania; some W.W.I war pictures including some Red Cross; a good selection of pictures on Egypt and Palestine including Turkish cavalry and other troops at Beersheba, the Duke of Connaught, the ruins at Gaza and General Allenby reading a proclamation. Many with pencil notes on the reverse. A fascinating and scarce group. (Approx 110). Photo
