1690 (25 July) entire letter ex the "Venturini" correspondence to Livorno from Etienne Marin and marked "Q.D.C."; the contents include "Yesterday morning the new Grand Master was proclaimed: Mons de Vignacour, Francois Lau being dead for eight days. Capt. Roux has come from Smyrna....I shall set sail tomorrow. Letters to me to be addressed to the consul" (trs.). Also two letters without the outer address sheets
