1933 (3 Apr.) envelopes (2) ex the same correspondence to England, both bearing 2a.6p. orange cancelled by "houston mount everest flight/purnea" datestamp in violet. the smaller envelope, marked "I certify that this cover was flown over Mount Everest on 3rd. April 1933" and signed by Colonel Stewart Blacker, complete with a full letter (dated 12 April) giving details of the flying over Everest, placed inside the larger one which additionally shows the "houston-mt-everest/1933" datestamp in violet; the larger envelope with a few small imperfections though a very rare and unusual pair.
