OB, typical greyish shade, close to good margins three sides, just touched at lower right, placed at the upper left (contrary to regulations) of entire mourning letter, dated 13 March 1841, to Beauly, "T.P/Holborn Hill" handstamp and framed "beauly/mr 16/1841" on the front, London dated markings on and superb complete and intact black "hoc majorum virtus" seal on reverse; fine and a most attractive entire bearing this rare plate.
