1833 (1 May) entire Wetmore letter from Guayaquil to New York, carried privately to Jamaica and bearing, on the reverse, a good strike of circular "commercial/buildings/kingston/jamaica" 29mm forwarding agent's cachet on the flap with manuscript "Alsop & Co letter to Messrs Wetmore", manuscript "6" in red ink on the address side, no other postal markings. A fine cover bearing this scarce marking and opens well for display
