1954 (Mar.-May) envelopes (4) regarding the move of the Mkushi Boma Post Office which was relocated to a new site at Chiwefwe, comprising 25 March registered to Canada at 2/4d. with District Commissioner oval datestamp and with typed registration label affixed over registration handstamp numbered "2", 23 April to England bearing 3d. marginal block of four with sheet number at side and corner example with sheet number at top, both cancelled with District Commissioner oval datestamp, 19 June to Broken Hill and 17 July to England at 1/3d, both with stamps cancelled by "dumb" datestamp and "old/mkushi" handstamp, and 18 November (3, all unaddressed) similarly cancelled in dull violet ink. Also two pieces. one with District Commissioner oval datestamp, the other with "old/mkushi" handstamp. A rare and interesting group. Photo
