1944 (17 June) envelope to a P.O.W. in Switzerland, bearing ½d. green (4) and 1d. chocolate unusually cancelled at Bulawayo Station, probably having been posted on a southbound train and with both U.K. and Swiss censor labels and cachets, and 1945 (27 Mar.) envelope from Kitwe to a P.O.W. in Germany, franked at 9d. and showing U.K. censor label and cachet, framed "british prisoner of war" and "kriegsgefangenenpost" cachets and, on reverse, "this letter formed part of undelivered mails which fell into the hands of the allied forces in germany. it is undeliverable as addressed, and is therefore returned to you" cachet in violet
