1940 (15 Aug.) envelope from Mongu Lealui "via Spain" to France, bearing 1½d. carmine-red pair with censor handstamp alongside the stamps and censor label at left tied by two "no service/return to sender" handstamps in violet, applied due to the German Occupation of France, and 1941 (4 June) envelope from Luanshya to Russia, bearing 3d. blue and with Northern Rhodesia and British censor labels, bi-lingual Undeliverable boxed cachet in violet and returned to sender via Moscow (7.7.42) with "Retour" label on face.
