1942 (5 June) type 1 card from George Lamoureux to his parents in Manitoba, bears small Hasegawa seal and Canadian censor handstamp, redirected on arrival with Canada 7c. air added (defective) tied by Ottawa 1943 (10 Sept.) slogan cancellation and with Transcona c.d.s. (11.9) at foot; a label has come off and the card is creased and soiled. The message includes, Well at last I have a chance to write ...". Scarce mail from this camp. Tett fig. 4-3-5. Photo
