(x) Banque de Syrie et du Grand-Liban, Syria, unissued 25 livres, 15 April 1925, no serial numbers , deep red and multicoloured, value in blue at left and right, ornate scroll work around, cornears and flowers at left and right, SYRIE Arabic top centre, signatures omitted, reverse blue-green and multicoloured, Krak des Chevaliers (Kalaat Hosn-el-Akrad) as seen from the Western gate at centre, value in blue top left and right, flower low left and right, red SYRIE top centre
(Pick 27s for type, Djaroueh SY 27s), good very fine and the only specimen of this type believed extant without signatures, very rare and attractive
