7679 Private Henry Greig Angles, born Kirkcaldy, Fife, 1882; enlisted in the Royal Engineers, 6.2.1901; served during the Great War on the Western Front from 8.9.1914; discharged, 4.6.1919; subsequently served with the 11th (G.P.O.) Battalion, City of Edinburgh Home Guard.

Second Lieutenant James J. Jamieson, born January 1892; enlisted in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders on the Centenary of the Battle of Waterloo, 18.6.1915; served with the 14th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 5.6.1916; Commissioned Second Lieutenant, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, 28.8.1918; subsequently served with the City of Edinburgh Home Guard.

201750 Private David Gordon Anderson served with the 2nd Battalion, City of Edinburgh Home Guard.

Captain J. Sturrock served as Medical Officer, 1st Battalion, City of Edinburgh Home Guard, 28.2.1942 - 31.12.1944.
