Major Henry William Thornton Jones, Commissioned Second Lieutenant, Welsh Regiment, and served with the 3rd Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 6.2.1917; promoted Major, 1.2.1941, and served as Assistant to the Zone Commander, North Wales District Home Guard.
