Surgeon Archibald Colquhoun served with the Bengal Indian Medical Service, from 1828; initially served as Assistant Surgeon with the 12th Bengal Native Infantry before transferring to 43rd Bengal Native Infantry, 1837; retired December 1847; died in Edinburgh, 25.4.1890.
