2600 Staff Sergeant Collar Maker Patrick Burns, born Shankill, Belfast, 1856; enlisted in the Commissariat and Transport Corps, June 1879, having previously served in the Royal Antrim Rifles; served in Egypt, August 1882 to March 1883 and February to August 1885, and in South Africa, October 1899 to June 1901; discharged, 5.6.1903.
