Japan mint and used collection to 1940 on Lighthouse hingeless pages, includes an extensive showing of mostly used early issues, with about 85 stamps from the 1871-1875 period, with some different plates and color shades, these seemed to have been purchased from a reliable source with most appearing genuine, several are signed Roig, later 19th century mostly used, starting in the 1920s the collection becomes predominantly mint, with a good run of commemorative sets and all the souvenir sheets including the 1934 Communications air post sheet of four, also the first air post set of two (APS/PF certificates), also includes some Manchukuo, o.g., some n.h., while the early issues are in typical mixed condition, the 20th century is generally fine-very fine; an interesting collection that deserves careful scrutiny.
