China (People´s Republic) group of early issues, from the 1947-1950 period, includes four sets of the 1950 Mao Tse-tung (#31-34), also strong value in the Northeast China issues, with two of the 1947 souvenir sheets (#1L44a), the scarce 1949 Globe and Hammer (#1L33-35) and four sets of the Mao Tse-tung (#1L50-53), other useful sets present including Port Arthur and Darien, all have been carefully examined against reprints and are genuine, o.g., n.h. or no gum as issued, fine-very fine.
