Auction: 14USA - Spink Shreves September 2008 Collector's Series
Lot: 2791
British Commonwealth valuable stock of a few thousands singles or sets in 24 retail binders, wide range of colonies and time periods present, from early 19th century used to never hinged sets and everything in between, there is very little from the QEII reign (and what is here is in the early period), there are many sets and better values from the King George V and King George VI periods, some high cataloging early stamps in mixed quality, with Great Britain, Canada and provinces, Australian States and more, but most with fine-very fine appearance, the later issues are overwhelmingly fine-very fine, in addition to the binders, there are some better items on stockcards as well as a stockbook of Rhodesia, overall an impressive stock which should yield a high resale value, as the Scott catalog value is probably well in excess of $100,000.00. Estimate US$ 18,000-21,000
Estimate
$18,000 to $21,000
