#30a, 1889 10c Rose, value omitted, a most attractive mint example of this exceedingly rare error, exceptionally fresh with bright radiant color, clean o.g., lightly hinged, very fine; the same design plate that was used for the earlier sterling denominations was used for the decimal denominations, it was in this printing that apparently a sheet went through without being printed by the duty plate, how many remain is not known, but this is a major rarity of Gibraltar; signed H.
