#RG106, $500.00 Gray, Series 1942, an impressive used example of this immensely rare Silver Tax stamp, being an uncut copy, with light violet boxed handstamp and a small blue crayon cancel, well centered, exceedingly bright and fresh, certificate mentions a faint pressed crease which is not readily detectable, very fine; only about ten examples have been recorded and this is one of the very few without a cut cancel or staple hole; 2003 APS certificate.
