#12, 5c Red brown, a visually stunning example that is one of the finest used examples of Scott #12 that exists with a colored cancellation, possessing huge well balanced margins all around, including showing a small portion of the adjoining stamp at right, sumptuously rich color and an incredibly detailed impression on bright paper, all wonderfully and beautifully complemented by a neat red town cancellation, without any other postal markings (most unusual to only have a red cancellation, very few as such exist and this is considered the finest recorded), extremely fine; a superb used gem for the collector who only seeks out stamps in the finest condition possible, as well as having tremendous eye appeal; 1987 and 2007 PF certificates (the latter graded XF-Superb 95; SMQ $2,850.00, with no premium for the colored cancellation).
